Este corto documental de 40 minutos recoge el testimonio de doce mujeres sobrevivientes de violencia sexual en Colombia. Ellas fueron víctimas de los paramilitares, las guerrillas de las Farc y el ELN y agentes del Estado. Su testimonio desgarrador es la impronta del más profundo dolor y, a la vez, la grandeza de transformarlo. Cada una de ellas accedió a hablar luego de un proceso de más de cinco años con la campaña No Es Hora De Callar, que las ha acompañado y ha trabajado a su lado, en diferentes momentos. Mariposas Violeta, además de un corto periodístico, es un acto de memoria.
